• Payment information: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store your payment card details.

• To provide AI-powered pet health scan results and wellness recommendations.

• To process premium subscription purchases.
• To improve the accuracy and quality of our AI models.
• To send transactional emails (e.g., email verification, password reset).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the app:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and database storage.
• OpenAI: AI analysis of pet photos and chat responses. Photos are sent to OpenAI's API and are subject to OpenAI's data usage policies.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management and purchase verification.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the app's Settings screen, which will permanently remove your data from our systems.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication, and secure cloud storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

PetScan AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
